KODIAK — A day after suffering a 30-point loss in the series opener, Palmer turned around to force the two-game series split with a 59-51 win over the Kodiak Bears in Kodiak Tuesday afternoon.
James Nisbett scored a game-high 25 in the win to help Palmer improve to 2-4 in NLC play. Cody Wells chipped in 11. Adam Ramoth scored 10. Jared Yanez finished with six points and 10 rebounds. Austin Frick scored a game-high 28 for the Bears, who suffered their first NLC loss of the year. Kodiak is now 5-1.
Kodiak beat Palmer 72-42 on Monday.
