PALMER — The Palmer Moose bounced back from a loss and scored a 44-38 win over the Kodiak Bears at Palmer High School Tuesday.
Freshman Clayton Southwick scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Moose. Jarred Yanez added six for Palmer.
Palmer improved to 3-6 in Northern Lights Conference play with the win.
The Moose are in a brutal stetch that ends their regular season. Monday, Palmer suffered a 45-33 loss to Kodiak. The two-game series is part of seven games during the last 10 days of the regular season. Five of those games are NLC matches. Palmer caps its regular season against Colony Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at PHS.
The Moose also host West Valley tonight at 7:30 p.m. in conconference play.
