WASILLA — Tyler Spatz won a pair of events to lead the Palmer Moose to the boys’ team title in the Valley Quad April 16 at Wasilla High School.
Spatz finished first in both the 200- and 400-meter races to help Palmer finish with 112 total points in the team standings. Chase Ferris rounded out a Moose sweep in the sprints with a victory in the 100 meters. Justin Roth also scored a victory for Palmer, winning the boys’ discus.
Quincy Fuller (1,600) and David Kolomeychuk (shot put) won events for Wasilla, which finished second in the boys’ standings with 81 points.
Kaylyn Kelly finished first in the 100 and 200, and helped Wasilla place first in the girls’ team standings. Demiana Glenn was first in the girls shot put for the Warriors.
Kristina Tennesen led Colony with a first-place finish in the girls discus.
