Palmer Day is July 26: Free hot dogs, face painting and the 'Noodle Chute'

Celebrate Palmer Day is July 26, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Palmer Train Depot. The City of Palmer is sponsor of the annual event.

“Join us for a vibrant gathering to honor our beloved town,” city officials said in a note posted on FaceBook.

It’s an annual event, with facepainting for kids and other entertaining challenges, including the “noodle chute” for all ages, which has to be seen to be appreciated

“Enjoy a (free) hot dog, connect with fellow community members, and share in the excitement as we present the Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, and Influencer of the Year awards,” the announcement said. “Come and celebrate the spirit of Palmer, where community and achievement shine brightest!”

Palmer has several summer events like Palmer Day and Friday Fling, all planned to help citizens meet and appreciate their community.
