BUTTE — Palmer’s Zack Richards is enjoying a happy homecoming.
Richards won Super ET races consistently while he was in high school, but put racing aside to attend college in Nevada.
Richards, back in the Valley, the Super ET win Sunday at Alaska Raceway Park with the best ET (11.6723) and the best MPH (116.68). Bob Lee of Anchorage had the best reaction time (0.0816.) Lee’s reaction time was twice as quick as Richards’.
Best R.T. of the day was by David Hubbard of Anchorage with a 0.0003.
