Palmer Elks say thanks

On August 15th, the Palmer Elks Club held a dinner, auction and raffle (all open to the public) to help those victims of the Sockeye Fire in Willow. Due to the incredible donations we gathered from Mat-Su Valley and statewide Alaska businesses, we were able to present the Willow Recovery Team (www.willowrecoveryteam.org) with a check for $6,000!

Our hearty thanks go out to these fine folks: Valley Performing Arts, Fireside Books, The Gallery, Kenai Fjords, Mahay's Riverboat Tours, Shane Lamb Gallery, Bleeding Heart Brewery, Lavender Salon, Local's Pizza, Non Essentials, Raven Glass Works, Palmer Golf Course, Settler's BayGolf Course, Midas, Johnson's Tire, Fairbanks Elks Lodge, Sportsman's Warehouse, Odom Corporation, Evangelo’s, Alaska State Fair, Silvertip Designs, Monica's Confection Connection and generous Elks members.
