Palmer girls extend streak

The Palmer girls' prep soccer team is streaking.

After losing its season opener at Juneau-Douglas, Palmer has won four straight. Their success during the streak can be attributed to the amount of shots the Moose are putting in the net.

Palmer improved to 4-1-0 with a 7-1 win over Grace Christian in Anchorage on Tuesday. During their four- game streak Palmer has outscored opponents 22-7.

Felicia Sandvick and Leslie Berberich each notched a hat trick in the win over the Grizzlies. Sandvick, who scored 23 goals last season, is already past the halfway point of her 2003 total. Rachel Kloster also scored for Palmer.

Tara Harrington earned her fourth win in net for the Moose.
