HOMER — The Palmer Moose scored a 2-0 win over the Homer Mariners at Homer High School on Friday.
Jessica Wyckoff scored in the first half for the Moose, and Tess Anderson added a second-half goal for PHS.
Skyview 1, Palmer 1
SOLDOTNA — The Panthers and Moose played to a 1-1 tie on Saturday in NLC action at Skyview.
Palmer scored 20 minutes into the game directly off a corner kick. With 10
minutes to go in the game, Skyview went to a familiar combination to tie the
game. Graves started a counterattack by bursting up the wing. She crossed
the ball to Millay, who controlled the ball and fired a left-footed shot
past the goalie.
“I would say Palmer pretty much owned possession,” Skyview coach Ronnie Kier
said after his team moved to 2-3-1 overall. “80 percent of the game was
played in our half of the field.”
Kier said Driver had a great game in goal.
Ketchikan 7, Houston 0
HOUSTON — The Ketchikan Kings scored a 7-0 win over the Houston Hawks in nonconference action at Houston High School on Saturday.
On Friday, Grace Christian tallied a 4-0 win over the Hawks.

HOMER — The Homer Mariners edged Palmer 2-1 at Homer High School on Friday.
Senior Will Ott posted the lone score for Palmer.
Sam Satre and Aaron Lewis each scored for Homer.
Palmer 2, Skyview 1
The visiting Moose topped NLC foe Skyview on Saturday. Meinung, on a penaltykick, had the lone goal for the Panthers.
