PALMER — The Palmer Moose used a big second half to score a Northern Lights Conference girls soccer win at Houston Wednesday.

Catherine Uschmann’s big night also provided a boost.

Uschmann found the back of the net five times during Palmer’s 7-2 victory over the Hawks. The sophomore notched a hat trick in the second half alone. One of her three second-half goals came off a corner kick. Delaney Shults and Ilse Spiropolous also scored in the second half.

Uschmann used a pair of first-half goals to give the Moose the 2-1 lead at the break. Denali Whitted scored in the first half for Houston.
