Palmer Golf Course opens 18 holes

PALMER — The Palmer Golf Course opened all 18 holes on Wednesday. PGC also opened the driving range and the course to the use of carts.

PGC is currently offering a discounted rate of $20 for greens fees. Director of golf George Collum said greens fees will be adjusted as course conditions improve.

The course is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days per week. Golfers can make tee times by calling 745-4653.

Three Valley golf courses are now completely open. Settlers Bay opened all 18 of its holes last week.

Carts are available at Settlers Bay, but only on cart paths. The Wasilla-area course is also offering specials. Tuesday and Thursday at 2-for-1 days. On Monday and Wednesday, Settlers is offering an all-you-can-play special with a golf cart for $49.
