The annual Palmer Harvest Dinner is at 6 p.m., Nov. 2 at the new Palmer senior center, now called Mat-Su Senior Services. Sponsored by Northland Pioneer Grange, Palmer Kiwanis, Mat-Su Farm Bureau, proceeds raised from the dinner and auction will be split between the local 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America groups. Last year the event raised $2,000 for each of the two groups.
Donations are accepted at the door. People are asked to bring: a dessert, which will be judged by the Kiwanis and the winner will receive a small prize, and an item to donate to the auction, which Gary Feaster will conduct after the meal. For more information, contact 745-3165.
