Palmer junior named NSC Player of the Year

PALMER — Palmer junior captain Ivan Good has been named the North Star Conference Player of the Year.

Good was also named first-team All-NSC for the second straight year. The forward was one of four Moose players to be named to the first team. Forward Piers LaFrance, and defensemen Nick Reeves and Brennan Harrison were also included on the first team.

The four players helped Palmer win the NSC title with a 5-3 win over Wasilla last Saturday.

The Warriors placed two players on the first team. Defensemen Chancie Hanson and Michael Johnston were both recognized. Colony senior Daryl Belanger represented the Knights on the first team.
