A 59-year-old Palmer man died as a result of a single ATV accident Monday afternoon, according to Alaska State Troopers.
According to an online dispatch, troopers investigated a report that Michael D. Anderson was overdue from a hunting trip. According to the report, Anderson was later located near Mile 6.5 of Palmer Fishhook Road around 1:50 p.m. Troopers said Anderson’s ATV had flipped while he was traversing a creek. He was found pinned under the ATV. Police say no foul play is suspected and next of kin were notified.
