WASILLA — A senior Frontiersman employee died Tuesday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
James R. McDowell, 35, of Palmer, the paper’s production manager, was found about 4:30 p.m. just outside the building.
Alaska State Troopers said in a press release that foul play is not suspected in McDowell's death and that next of kin has been notified.
