PALMER — The Palmer Moose were forced to settle for a tough 3-3 tie against visiting Nikiski in girls’ soccer action at Palmer High School Thursday.
Palmer built a 3-0 lead in the first half, but the Bulldogs netted three unanswered goals to tie the game. The stretch included a late penalty kick converted by Nikiski.
Ilse Spiropolous, Catherine Uschmann and Delaney Shults scored for the Moose.
Nikiski beat Palmer 3-0 in the boys’ game.
