PALMER —Registration for Palmer Public Library’s Summer Reading Program opens June 4.
Kids who wear their pajamas to register also get a free prize.
The reading program includes a series of special events that are only open to registered participants in the summer reading program. Events include a live birds of prey presentation at 10:30 a.m., June 12; bike and water safety presentation at 10:30 a.m., June 21; and an outdoor concert at noon, June 26 by the Air Force Brass Band Concert. The concert will be outside on the lawn, weather permitting; otherwise, it will be at the Palmer Depot.
Teen volunteers also are needed for the Palmer Public Library’s summer reading program. For more information, contact 745-4690.
