The Palmer Moose used a big second inning to score an 8-5 prep softball win over rival Wasilla Monday night at Wasilla High School.
Palmer scored five times in the second to take a 7-2 lead. The Moose drew eight walks in the win, including two each for Carrie McQuillin and Aria Beames. McQuillen and Beames also scored two runs each, Beames, Michele Poirot and Gabbie Yoder drove in runs for the Moose,
