Palmer swept the player of the year soccer awards in the Division II Northern Lights Conference and a Houston mentor was recognized for her work with a pair of programs.
Palmer senior Elijah Von Gunten was named the NLC Boys Player of the Year and Moose freshman Lila Pettit earned was named co-MVP for the NLC girls. Heather Fortune was named the NLC Coach of the Year for both the boys and girls classes. Fortune coaches both teams for the Hawks.
Palmer’s Porter Johnson, Storm Shadee, Parker Johnson and Owen Lance joined teammate Von Gunten on the NLC boys first team.
Noah Whitted and Blake Baskett were named first team for the Houston boys.
Charlotte Marciales and Kaylee Gallego joined Pettit for the Moose on the girls first team.
Bella Russell and TaNea Cook were named first-team for the Houston girls. Caydence Nunley and Annareese Carroll earned first-team honors for the Redington girls.
Jada Becker-Santana and Kilee Gose were named to the second team for Palmer. Avery Flinn and Arina Ivshina were named second-team for Redington.
Billy Rusher, Dayne Noakes and Charlie DeBuse were named second-team for the Houston boys. Thomas Swalling represented Redington on the boys second team.
