Palmer tops crosstown rival Colony in early season action

PALMER — Ivan Good scored a pair of goals to lead the Palmer Moose to a 7-2 win over the Colony Knights at the MTA Palmer Ice Arena on Saturday.

Five players scored and freshman Ashton Good stopped 24 shots to help the Moose win their first game of the 2010-11 season. Payton Stankowicz, Dalton Buness, Nick Reeves and Jacob Inukai also scored for Palmer (1-1).

Morgan McJimsey and Jonathon Boyer scored for Colony (1-2).
