A Palmer woman is dead after a structure fire in the Butte are Monday.
Emergency crews responded to a structure fire on Feltman Court at about 6:30 p.m. Monday. Initial calls indicated that an elderly woman was unable to get out of the structure snd was found dead after fire crews were able to enter, according to the Alaska State Troopers. The deceased was identified as Patricia Brown, 88.
The State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire. No foul play is suspected at this time, troopers said.
