Palmer woman dies in plane crash in Northern Alaska

A Palmer woman died in a plane crash in Northern Alaska, according to the Alaska State Troopers.

AST identified Hannah Dollick, 28, as the pilot and sole occupant of a Cessna 206 that was reported to have crashed on the Porcupine River, northwest of Chalkyitsik. The crash was reported just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The plane was found partially submerged in the river. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the accident, troopers said.
