Paper does a good job

To the editor:

What is with the whining and ranting by the local Tea Party? This group is but a poorly disguised Republican rally.

The disparaging remarks concerning the Frontiersman are unfair and lacking credibility. (One letter claims 500 in attendance, while another claims 1,000.)

I for one am so grateful for our local newspaper. I may not always agree with the viewpoint of every editorial or the political cartoons. I sometimes chuckle at the grammatical errors, but for the most part I find it to be fair, balanced and informative.

The Frontiersman provides an invaluable service. Local events are advertised for free (Around the Valley). Letters to the Editor allow individuals to express their diverse opinions. We are kept up to date with professionally written coverage of local and statewide news. The human-interest stories shed light on those in our community who are ill, heroes or in need of help. The sports coverage allows us to applaud our local athletes. The classified section makes it possible for us to sell almost anything, advertise our services and promote our businesses.

To you who make the tri-weekly publication possible I would say: Keep up the good work and please know that you are appreciated by so many of your readers.
