PALMER — The MTA Parade of Lights is an annual highlight of the Colony Christmas celebration in Palmer. The winners in this year’s parade are:

Business Category: first — Northern Industrial Training; second — Valley Radio Q99.7; and third — Home Depot

Winter/Holiday Fun: first — First National Bank Alaska, Palmer; second — Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce; and third — AK Backcountry Adventures

Community Service Organizations: first — Palmer Fire & Rescue; second — MATSAR; and third — Palmer Lions Club.

Pets/Animals: first — Pearly Gates Community; second — AK Wildlife Conservation; and third — Holiday Pony Express
