WASILLA — Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners in this year’s Independence Day Parade.
Sertoma Club of Mat-Su picked the Museum of Transportation and Industry’s parade entry as the overall winner.
In the General Category, Sonja’s School of Dance won first; Society for Creative Anachronism was second and Church on the Rock placed third.
In the Vehicle Category, Independent Baptist Church received first place; Last Frontier Honor Flight was second; and Wininger Drilling was third.
In the theme category, the Wasilla Senior Center Inc. was first; American Legion Post No. 35 was second; and the Aurora Borealis 4-H Club received third.
Ribbons may be picked up between 2 to 5 p.m. at the Wasilla Chamber Office, 415 E. Railroad Ave., Wasilla.
