To the editor:
Alaska is a great state and we are entitled to great leadership. If there is one thing I personally know about through my life experiences and the people I have worked with in both the private and public sectors; it is leadership. Leaders inspire and build support for actions by bringing people together.
Our current Governor has failed as a leader. It’s not an issue of leadership style; he just doesn’t have any. Alaska is adrift because Governor Parnell has not been a leader on our social, resource development, or fiscal challenges. He has let political pork-barrel values guide his decisions away from what is good for Alaska.
That’s why I have supported, contributed to, and will on Nov. 4, be part of electing Bill Walker as governor.
With the Walker — Mallott team leading Alaska we are assured that our direction will be based on what is best for Alaska and that we will actually achieve real results. I don’t want four more years of nothing; please join me in electing Bill Walker.
