Patricia Jean Williams, 58, died May 9, 2006, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. At her request, no services are planned.
She was born Dec. 11, 1947, in Pasco, Wash. She moved to Alaska in 1983 to make a home with her three children. She worked as a store manager for the Treasure Loft in Wasilla until 1996.
She is survived by her three children, Michael Shane Griffin of Arizona, Joey David Cole and Angella Sharie Cole of Wasilla; daughter-in-law, Susan Richardson of Wasilla; and grandson, Evan Richardson of Wasilla.
She also is survived by her parents, Calvin and Georgia Buckenberger of Washington; her brothers, Michael Buckenberger of Arizona, and Robert and Terry Buckenberger of Washington; her sister, Veronica Rossi of Oregon; her longtime friend, Heather Metzger; and faithful companion, Annie.
Her children and family wrote, “Patti deeply loved her family, friends and pets. She was a very special person who would help anyone and had a deep love for nature, plants, flowers and gardening. To know Patti was to love her. She will be sorely missed.”

RUTH ANN LEMBKE
Ruth Ann Lembke, 59, died June 8, 2006, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at Maize Manor Methodist Church in Columbus, Ohio. She was born Feb. 6, 1947, in Champaign County Hospital in Urbana, Ohio. She went on to get her beauticians license.
She moved to Alaska in 1975, living in Anchorage. She moved to Wasilla in 1999. She worked as a beautician at various locations in Anchorage and worked as a bartender at Black Angus.
One of her favorite hobbies was knitting.
Her family stated, “Ruth Ann was born in Urbana, Ohio, and spent her younger years in Champaign city before moving to Columbus, Ohio. S
“he married Wayne Lembke on Sept. 2, 1971, and moved to Anchorage in 1975 and then to Wasilla in 1999. She will be missed with happy memories by her daughter, grandchildren, special friends and her cats.

She is survived by her daughter, Lana Sisson of Gahanna, Ohio; son-in-law, Jerry Wiley of Gahanna; granddaughter, Amela Sisson of Gahanna; grandson, Payne Sisson of Gahanna; father, Wilson E. “Bud” Lee of Columbus; mother, Ruth Lee of Columbus; sister, Phoebe (Ken) Myers of St. Paris, Ohio; sister, Sara Ramsey (Clyde) of Hilliard, Ohio; brother, Roger W. (Sue) Lee of Hilliard; her special friend, Gary Westphal of Wasilla; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Lembke; father-in-law, Eldone Lembke; and mother-in-law, Betty Lembke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alaska Dog and Puppy Rescue, 2031 S. Terrace Ct., Palmer, AK 99645.
