One person is dead following an accident near the Alaska State Fairgrounds.
A pedestrian was struck and killed early Tuesday morning. Palmer Police received a report of the incident just before 5 a.m. Tuesday. A vehicle traveling south on Glenn Highway struck the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Alaska State Troopers are assisting in the investigation.
