Drug traffic to be discussed

An information meeting on the drug traffic in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough has been scheduled at the Wasilla area elementary school.

The community committee is making arrangements for the program has pointed out that in the past weeks the general public has definitely been made aware of the drug abuse and drug traffic existing in the Anchorage borough and peninsula schools.

Borough on sound footing

The Matanuska-Susitna Borough has developed into a responsible government unit and is on sound footing as it approaches its fifth anniversary, chairman Robert Vroman told the assembly recently in his 1967-1968 annual report.

Redington is first musher to get sponsor for Iditarod
