• Katie Conover, a teacher at Goose Bay Elementary School, was among a group of U.S. elementary school teachers and educators who traveled to India with the Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad program. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education and organized by the United States-India Educational Foundation, the program provides short-term study and travel seminars abroad for U.S. educators in the social sciences and humanities for the purpose of improving their understanding and knowledge of the peoples and cultures of other countries.
