• Big Lake resident Theresa Hambrick was among the nearly 800 students who graduated this month from Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina. She earned a master’s degree in elementary education.
• Nathan Gumminger of Wasilla was named to the president’s list for the spring 2014 semester at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.
• Melody Mileur of Palmer was named to the president’s list for the spring 2014 semester at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.
• Sara Reed of Palmer was named to the president’s list for the spring 2014 semester at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.
• Cy Ketchum of Chickaloon, a junior majoring in aerospace engineering, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts.
• Jonathan Richar, son of Nancy Richar of Trapper Creek, graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Fisheries and Ocean Science Graduate School in Juneau. He received his doctoral degree May 4 in fisheries. He hopes to find work in Alaska with either the National Marine Fisheries Service or state Department of Fish and Game.
• Kaden P. Weaver of Palmer was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.
