• Kaitlyn Klapperich of Wasilla is a member of the Student Government Association at Central Methodist University. She is part of the Cabinet as the Collegian Representative, a position considered to be an honored station of leadership for the student body. Klapperich is a Communication Studies major from Wasilla.
• Casey Cook, emergency manager for the Mat-Su Borough’s Department of Emergency Services, graduated from the Federal Emergency management Agency’s National Emergency management Executive Academy at the Emergency Management Institute on Sept. 11, 2014. Cook completed four courses at the academy, which is designed for emergency management executives in government agencies of all sizes, non-profit organizations; and the private sector.
