• Kaitlyn Klapperich of Wasilla was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester at Central Methodist University, Fayette, Missouri.

• Cassidy Evans of Palmer was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester at Central Methodist University, Fayette, Missouri.

• Drew Allen Chapman of Palmer was named to the President’s Honor Roll for the 2015 spring semester at Washington State University, Pullman, Washington.

• Kathryn Lenee Mayer of Wasilla was named to the President’s Honor Roll for the 2015 spring semester at Washington State University, Pullman, Washington.

• 2014 Palmer High School graduate Michael Darnell joined the U.S. Marines Corps and will complete basic training in San Diego, California, on Aug. 1. He is the son of Joe Darnell of the Valley and Diana Darnell of Anchorage. He is the grandson of Clifford Darnell of Big Lake, Richard Suttle of Montana and Glen and Janet Jacobs of Palmer.

• Cyndi Ice, former science teacher at Kingfisher High School, Kingfisher, Oklahoma, is one of 20 science teachers nationwide selected to attend the Inspiring Science Education International Summer Academy in Athens, Greece July 12-17. She also will attend the Oklahoma Education and Industry Partnership program this summer at Rose State College July 28-30. She is the daughter of Bill Aldridge of Palmer.

• Brandon Schafer of Palmer was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester at Northwest Nazarene University, Nampa, Idaho.

• Kelly Renee Moran of Wasilla was named to the president's list for the spring 2015 semester at Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina.

• Gina Ann Aki of Palmer graduated this spring from Edinboro University, Edinboro, Pennsylvania.
