• Air Force Reserve Airman Shawn C. Everett graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

He is the son of Herb and Bettina Everett of Highlander Circle, Palmer.

Everett graduated in 2007 from Palmer High School.

• Everest Moore of Palmer was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Mary, America’s Leadership University, in Bismarck.

• Samuel Martin Hansen of Palmer was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Park University, Parkville, Mo. Hansen attended Valley Pathways.

• Robert L. Meinhardt III of Wasilla graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Ga. Meinhardt earned a Master of Arts degree in historic preservation.

• Melody Mileur of Palmer was named to the president’s list at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash.

• Julia Morris of Wasilla was named to the president’s list at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash.

• Brittany Cheyenne Streicher of Wasilla was recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, National Leadership and Honors Organization at the Arizona State University. The national leadership and honors organization is dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service, personal development and lifelong professional fulfillment. She is daughter of James and Lisa Streicher of Wasilla.
