• Jordan Elkins of Wasilla was named to the dean's list for the fall 2011 semester at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn.

• 2006 Wasilla High School graduate Joshua Proper was one of 55 youth delegates who participated in the 2012 Conference of Young Alaskans in Juneau two weekends ago. The group created a list of goals and actions that will be presented to the Alaska Legislature.

• Colony High School graduate Helena Ann Reisterer, of Palmer, received the Wilder Trustee Scholarship at the University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y. She is the daughter of Matthew Reisterer and Ruth A. Reisterer of Palmer.

• Mark Lackey of CCS Learning was honored by the Alaska Journal of Commerce in its annual "Top 40 Under 40" listing.

• Steven Swank, a sophomore in engineering from Palmer, was named to the dean's list at the University of Delaware, Newark, Del.

• Marissa Di Rocco of Palmer was named to dean's list at St. Bonaventure University, St. Bonaventure, N.Y. Di Rocco is a third-year student majoring in International Studies.
