• Andrew Bryan Ford of Wasilla was named to the Dean’s List at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C.
• Coleman Ahrens of Palmer is among students who qualified for Chadron State (Neb.) College’s academic honors lists for the fall 2010 semester. Ahrens was named to the Dean’s List, which requires a grade point average of at least 3.5.
• Jordan Elkins of Wasilla was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2010 semester at Quinnipiac University located on the East Coast.
• Army Sgt. 1st Class Michael J. Nagl has arrived for duty at Bismarck Recruiting Station, N.D. He is a new recruiter assigned to the Minneapolis Recruiting Battalion and has served in the military for 18 years. He is the son of Lucille Nagl of Wasilla.
• Wasilla resident David E. Aragon earned a bachelor of science degree from Excelsior College.
• Cleomar Munoz of Palmer graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology during the Commencement ceremony held in the Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building on campus. He earned a graduate certificate in military construction management.
• Michael L Wagner of Palmer, a freshman in engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo., has been named to the honor list for the 2010 fall semester.
