• Gus Dubetz of Wasilla was named to the President’s Academic Honors list for the fall 2014 semester at Dakota State University, Madison, South Dakota.
• Emilee Melin of Big Lake was named to the honor roll for the fall 2014 semester at Spokane Community College, Spokane, Washington.
• Terry Millikin of Wasilla received a diploma during a December commencement ceremony at George Fox University, Newberg, Oregon.
• Robert Pritchett of Wasilla was named to the honor roll for the fall 2014 semester at Rocky Mountain College, Billings, Montana.
• Morgan P. Lundt of Palmer was named to the honor roll for the fall 2014 semester at Colorado State University in Pueblo, Colorado.
• Nathaniel D. McKimson of Wasilla named to the honor roll for the fall 2014 semester at Colorado State University in Pueblo, Colorado.
• Ret. U.S. Air Force Col. Paul “Otto” Feather of Meadow Lakes will serve as Senior Advisor for Military and Veterans’ Affairs and Mat-Su Regional Director for U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan. Feather is a 31-year veteran, and most recently worked as road manager and veterans outreach coordinator on Sullivan’s campaign. Feather served combat command tours in Afghanistan and Iraq and as the Deputy Director of Operations in the White House Military Office.
• Kathlene Rowell of Palmer is the new State Director for U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan. She previously served as special assistant to Sullivan on his campaign as well as at the Alaska Department of Natural Resources.
• Jordan Jensen of Palmer made the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. She is a 2012 graduate of Mat-Su Central School and the daughter of Brian and Kimberly Jensen of Palmer.
