• Victoria Bishop of Palmer graduated from Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering Dec. 20, 2014.

• Kaitlyn Klapperich is taking part in Central Methodist University’s benefit reading of Eve Ensler’s award winning play, The Vagina Monologues during the V-Day 2015 College and Community Campaign Feb. 5-6 in the Little Theatre.

• Cody Wells of Palmer has enrolled for the spring 2015 semester at Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado.

• Gabrielle Zaleski of Wasilla has enrolled for the spring 2015 semester at Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado.

• Kelsey Schober was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at Bates College, Lewiston, Maine. She is a 2012 graduate of Palmer High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Schober of Sutton.

• U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski nominated Alexandra Butler of Wasilla to the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland as a member of the class of 2019.

• U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski nominated James Goyette of Wasilla to the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland and to the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York as a member of the class of 2019.
