Hansen graduates from Eastern Oregon University
Stephanie Hansen, Palmer, graduated from Eastern Oregon University during the 2009-10 academic year. Hansen earned a bachelor of science in liberal studies.
Airman 1st Class Bennett completes basic
Air Force Airman 1st Class Jeremy D. Bennett graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. He is the son of Darla Rodland of Palmer and Kevin Bennett of Anchorage.
Bennett graduated in 2005 from West Anchorage High School, Anchorage, and received a bachelor’s degree in 2009 from the University of Idaho, Moscow.
Airman Zarr graduates from basic training

Army Pvt. Lindberg completes training
Army Pvt. Shawn D. Lindberg has graduated from the fire support specialist advanced individual training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. The field artillery specialists serve in intelligence activities, including target processing in field artillery, cannon battalions, division artillery, artillery and maneuver brigade and headquarters and fire support elements. Lindberg is the son of Robert B. and Kathleen E. Lindberg of Wasilla. His wife, Sarah, is the daughter of David C. Webley and Mastina Webley, both of Wasilla. The private is a 2007 graduate of the Correspondence Study School in Wasilla.
