The Palmer Moose Nordic Booster Club is hosting the Turkey Trax community fundraiser Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Government Peak Recreation Area.
The Mat-Su Ski Club is also helping to organize the socially-distanced 4.7-K interval race. Participants can chose either classic or skate technique. Gift certificates will be awarded to the fastest female and fastest male, and for the best individual and team costumes. There will be a pie raffle every 15 to 20 minutes. Those who register before Nov, 23 will receive two raffle tickets.
The big handout opens at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 27, and the first race is at 11 a.m. The final big handout is 1:30 p.m. and the final race starts at 2 p.m.
