How refreshing reading Ben Compton’s column, “How long do we celebrate stupid?”
I knew Ben’s grandmother, Phyllis Compton, and she’d be proud of you, Ben. I’m always appreciative to see someone in the younger generation reaffirm that maybe I’m not such an old fuddy duddy when it comes to today’s “reality” shows and the trend to OK just plain rude behavior in grown-ups and children.
Keep it up, Ben. It’s not “cool” to sound illiterate and I hope the celebration of stupid goes by the wayside very soon.
