WASILLA — The Post 15 Palmer Pioneers won the Todd Ryan Memorial Tournament in Wasilla on Sunday with a wild 14-12 win over the Post 35 Wasilla Road Warriors in Wasilla on Sunday. The Pioneers beat the Road Warriors twice during the tourney, also scoring a 16-10 win over Post 35 on Saturday.
Wasilla used the mercy rule to beat both Fairbanks-based teams over the weekend. The Road Warriors earned a 13-3 mercy-rule win over North Pole on Saturday and a 13-3 win over Fairbanks on Friday.
