WASILLA — The Wasilla Warriors used a pair of stellar pitching performances to score wins over rival Palmer this week.
Bryce Borngraeber tossed a two-hit shutout during a 5-0 win over the Moose at Carl Fritzler Field on Monday. Borngraeber fanned 12 Palmer hitters, while walking only two.
Josh Grissom drove in three runs during the win. Kyle Simmons and Robert Rodamer had an RBI each.
On Tuesday, Grissom pitched a three-hit shutout during a 3-0 win over Palmer. Grissom was also a force at the plate, with three hits at two RBI.
