Super Bowl Sunday is one of the deadliest days of the year on the road - as drunken drivers heading home from bars or parties put everyone at risk.
This year, if you are hosting a party, make sure you do it responsibly.
Beer is a staple at most Super Bowl parties, much like chips and dips are.
If you are hosting a party this year, make sure your guests live to see another Super Bowl - don't let them drive home drunk.
If you are hosting a party, make sure you have plenty of nonalcoholic beverages for your guests, and make sure that people stop drinking beer well before it's time for the game to be over and they are planning to leave your house. If not, make sure to call a taxi for them, or at least offer to give them a ride home.
The AAA in California estimates that motorists were 32 percent more likely to be involved with a drinking-related fatality or injury on the road on Super Bowl Sunday, than any other non-holiday of the year - and all can be avoided, by simply not drinking and driving.
