Do you think mixing drinking, drugs and riding is no big deal? Think again. In Alaska, operating an ATV under the influence is not only illegal, it’s dangerous. A DWI off-road is still a DWI. Located off Oilwell Road, you’ll find about 12 miles of trails that provide access to backcountry fishing spots. Here you can also expect to see moose, bear and various birds. The trails travel between forested areas and open meadows. This trail is suited to those with moderate riding skills and experience. Remember to bring both bug and bear spray for protection. And be prepared, this trail can get boggy after a rain storm.
