I was thankful to read that the borough is going to give us a tax license fee break on older vehicles, but I had to laugh at one member who stated that it might adversely affect such services as dust control or grading.
Dust control on W. Sourdough Drive in the Beverly Lakes area is non-existent. We literally beg for dust control every year to no avail. We choke on dust all summer and with the lack of snow it is really terrible now.
With the money I save on my vehicle registration maybe I can buy my own calcium chloride to dust control in front of my house at least.
