What is There To Do In Palmer?—This is a question that comes up periodically, about this time of year. Holidays and holy days are over. Winter is ever-present regardless of snow fall. Skiing and sledding are not great. It’s still dark a lot of the time. So it is not a surprise when this question comes up seasonally.

Here is The Activity List—It’s divided into sections. It is NOT (and never will be) complete but it is the best I can do after consulting a variety of sources. It would be great to know what is missing so it can be more comprehensive. I don’t have the column space to give all the details but a quick google search should locate your query and the specifics. Remember that this is a specialized interest list. The public libraries, churches, college, the farm, the fair, the bars, Senior Center, Lions, Rotary, and Kiwanis clubs have many offerings of their own. The local coffee shops and cooperative extension always have continual classes and shows or presentations so I have not included these.
