First of all I would like to say good job to everyone. I like reading ever ones blogs.
I used to be a personal trainer for years but, I fell in a slump going through a nasty divorce and gained almost 100 lbs, but I am using the Trim to Win to help me get back on track and live a healthy life style. I see allot of people talking about not loosing or gaining weight or how much weight they should be loosing.
One thing that you have to remember is when you start working out. Is that your body is going to take fat and turn it into muscle and muscle weights more then fat. So you may not be showing a big drop in weight. Good ways off seeing how much you lost besides the scale is go out and buy a sewing tape measure and measure your adnomal circumference take the measurements right above your hip bones and take a measurement every couple of weeks. If you’re only loosing 1-2 lbs a week don’t get discourage. Loosing 1-2lb per week is what is considered healthy.
Each week is always different for me some times I only loose 1 lb per week and other I loose 3lbs but, that’s one pound closer to having a healthy life style. Loosing weight is not something that happens over night even now I wish it would. It takes time and what ever you do don’t try and compete with the biggest looser. Just remember on TV anything is possible.
Something I have noticed over time is don’t get discourage if you go out and have some pizza. It’s not going to hurt you to have a special meal or desert once a week. It’s when you go out and do it everyday is when it’s going to hurt you. I go out once a week and treat myself. It makes it easier for me through out the week plus you have to remember it is a lifestyle change. Most people don’t eat anything bad for weeks then when there off the diet. They taste that bad food and then there back eating it everyday. Just remember everyone is different and everyone is going to loose weight differently and loose different amounts. Just remember it’s a lifestyle change and it takes time but, you just need to keep plug-in away at it and eventually it will all come together.
