Aug. 31, 10:09 p.m., Pioneer Peak Drive, Wasilla. Responding to a reported residential disturbance, troopers arrested 25-year-old Ethan Kerr of Wasilla on an outstanding failure to appear warrant on the original charge of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held on $500 cash bail.
Sept. 1, 12:48 a.m., Wasilla. Following a traffic stop for an equipment violation, troopers arrested 47-year old Robert Kunayak of Houston on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility without set bail.
Aug. 31, 1:59 a.m., Mile 1 Tok Cutoff Highway, Gakona. Following a traffic stop for several violations, troopers arrested Liana M. Charley for driving while license suspended and violating conditions of release. According to reports, Charley’s license was revoked because of failing a breath test related to a DUI arrest. Further investigation revealed Charley had consumed alcoholic beverages and disobeyed conditions of her release on two separate criminal cases. She was held pending arraignment.
Sept. 1, 10:22 p.m., Mile 104 parks Highway, Talkeetna. Troopers responded to a vehicle-moose accident. The driver of the vehicle, a 30-year old Wasilla man, was northbound on the highway at the time of the crash. He was not injured and a local charity salvaged the animal.
Sept. 2, 2:33 a.m., Mile 95 Parks Highway, Talkeetna. Following a traffic stop, troopers arrested 39-year old William Warren Glenn of Anchorage on multiple warrants. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
Aug. 31, 10 p.m., Trunk Road-Blue Lupine Drive, Palmer. Troopers arrested 44-year old Keith Miranda of Soldotna on an outstanding parole violation arrest warrant on the original charge of second-degree theft. He was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and held without bail.
Sept. 1, 7:22 p.m., Mile 32 Glenn Highway, Palmer. Troopers arrested 28-year old Joshua Beasley for driving while license suspended for a previous DUI and on an outstanding failure to remand arrest warrant on the original charge of DUI. According to report, troopers were called to a motor vehicle collision where investigation revealed that Beasley failed to slow for stopped traffic colliding with a vehicle driven by a 56-year old Wasilla woman. Both were wearing seatbelts and transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. Following medical treatment, Beasley was remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with seven days to serve.
Sept. 1, 10:20 a.m., Skyview Drive-Gunflint Trail, Wasilla. Troopers are seeking the public’s help in solving a criminal mischief complaint. According to reports, culprits spray-painted the siding of a residence sometime during the previous evening. The property owner believes the suspects may be area juveniles.
