January 23 at 8:30 p.m., AST arrested 35-year-old Melissa Smith of Wasilla for VCOR and taken to MSPT.
January 24 at 4:54 a.m., AST arrested 38-year-old Charlene Tuluk of Palmer for VCOR for a DV crime after responding to South Audie Street in Palmer for a 911 hang-up call. Tuluk was taken to MSPT without bail.
January 24 at 10:26 p.m., AST arrested 38-year-old Brooke Miller of Wasilla for Assault 4 and Criminal Mischief 4 following a disturbance on North Infinite Road in Wasilla. Miller was taken to MSPT without bail.
January 25 at 4:47 a.m., AST arrested 21-year-old Michael Davidson of Wasilla for Assault 4 following a disturbance on North Northshore Drive in Wasilla. Davidson was taken to MSPT without bail.
January 25 at 8:25 p.m., AST arrested 50-year-old Lisa Stewart of Wasilla following a disturbance on Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. Stewart was charged with Assault 4 (DV) and Criminal Mischief 5 (DV) and taken to MSPT without bail.
January 25 at 11:34 p.m., AST arrested 27-year-old Shawniqua Doisher of Wasilla for Interfering with the report of a DV crime and Assault following a domestic disturbance near Elsinore Avenue in Wasilla. Doisher was taken to MSPT without bail.
January 26 at 3:54 a.m., AST arrested 35-year-old Sarah Hill of Palmer for Assault 4 (DV) following a report of a disturbance in the Butte. Hill was taken to MSPT without bail.
January 27 at 2:50 a.m., AST arrested 19-year-old Everett McCormick of Eagle River for Robbery 1, two counts of Assault 3, Theft 2, Criminal Trespass 1, Theft 4 and violation of probation after McCormick and two unidentified suspects allegedly stole a firearm and a wallet from a vehicle and later fled and discharged the firearm towards two victims. The suspect vehicle crashed, fled on foot and were arrested with assistance of WPD K9 Echo and taken to MSPT.
January 27 at 5:19 p.m., AST received a report of a DVPO violation on Unalaska Drive in Wasilla. Troopers arrested 27-year-old Tyler Jimenez of Wasilla on January 28 at 7:30 a.m., for the DVPO violation at MSRMC. Jimenez was also charged with Resisting Arrest and four counts of Assault 4 on a LEO along with the DVPO Violation and was taken to MSPT without bail.
January 28 at 9:45 a.m., AST arrested 22-year-old Brendan Haines of Wasilla at Three Bears on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. Haines was on probation for Theft 3 and was charged with Criminal Trespass 1, Concealment of Merchandise and Probation Violation and taken to MSPT without bail.
January 29 at 6:48 am., AST arrested 23-year-old Joey Ryno of Wasilla in the driveway of a home in Wasilla following a reported disturbance. Ryno had two outstanding warrants and was taken to MSPT without bail.
ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS
January 23, 34-year-old Robb Travica of Palmer pled guilty on two counts of Taking a Moose during Closed Season in Tok District Court. Travica was fined $6,000 with half suspended, his hunting license was revoked and placed on probation for a year and the antlers, meat, hunting rifle and ATV were forfeited to the state following a report of Travica harvesting a cow and bull moose near tok during closed season.
January 24, AWT cited 51-year-old Troy Williams of Cantwell $120 for failure to seal grizzly bear hide and skull within 30 days as required.
BUREAU OF HIGHWAY PATROL
January 26 at 6:22 p.m., BHP arrested 53-year-old David Fritz-Eldred of Wasilla for DUI following a report of an intoxicated male that drove himself to the liquor store. Fritz-Eldred was contacted at the Holiday Gas Station at mile 49 of the Parks Highway and taken to MSPT.
PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT
January 20, PPD arrested 29-year-old Kyle Neeley of Soldotna on a $500 FTA warrant on the OC of Improper Use of Registration, Title and Plates. Neeley was taken to MSPT.
January 20, PPD arrested 43-year-old Terra Stanley of Palmer for Criminal Trespass 2 and VCOR. Stanley was taken to MSPT on $250 bail.
January 21, PPD arrested 60-year-old Christopher Coleman of Valdez on a $100 FTA warrant on the O/C of Theft 3. Coleman was taken to MSPT.
January 21, PPD arrested 43-year-old Terra Stanley of Palmer for Burglary 2. Stanley was taken to MSPT without bail.
January 23, PPD arrested 30-year-old Troy Hepola of Palmer on a $2,500 warrant for Probation Violation on the OC of Attempted Sexual Assault 2. Hepola was taken to MSPT.
January 24, PPD arrested 29-year-old Aaron Lashbrook of Palmer for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass 2. Lashbrook was taken to MSPT and released O/R.
January 24, PPD arrested 36-year-old Joshua Dakatak of Palmer on a $2,500 FTC warrant on the O/C OF MICS 4. Dakatak was taken to MSPT, additionally charged with False Information and released O/R.
January 25, PPD arrested 40-year-old Lonny Richman of Palmer for MIWS 5 and VCOR. Richman was taken to MSPT on $250 bail.
January 25, PPD arrested 55-year-old Laura Beach of Palmer on a $1,000 FTC warrant on the O/C of Felony DUI. Beach was taken to MSPT.
January 25, PPD arrested 23-year-old Jordan Dylan of Wasilla on a $500 FTC warrant on the O/C of Theft 2. Dylan was taken to MSPT.
January 25, PPD arrested 19-year-old Brandon Drew of Palmer on a no bail FTA warrant on the O/C of Assault 3.Drew was taken to MSPT.
WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT
January 13 at 8:02 a.m., WPD began pursuit of a suspect believed to have stolen a vehicle from the Carrs parking lot. WPD arrested 53-year-old Donald Craig Jr., of Wasilla with assistance from K9 Echo on Blind Nick Drive and Craig Jr, was charged with Vehicle Theft 1, False Information and FTR warrants on the O/C of Felony DUI and taken to MSPT.
January 13 at 6:43 p.m., WPD arrested Ian Roberts during a breach and clear in reference to a search warrant that had been granted on a residence on Blind Nick Drive in Wasilla. Roberts fought with officers and was eventually arrested for Disorderly Conduct and taken to MSPT.
January 13 at 8:41 a.m., WPD arrested 54-year-old Eddie Sapp of Wasilla on West Ponderosa Loop following a report of a domestic disturbance. Sapp was charged with Assault 4, Criminal Mischief 5, Interfering with the Report of a DV Crime and violation of a DVPO and taken to MSPT.
January 13 at 9:59 p.m., WPD arrested Charley Caviness following a single vehicle collision for DUI. Caviness was taken to MSPT.
January 14 at 4:00 p.m., WPD arrested Michael Elsass for DUI following a traffic stop. An additional drug investigation is pending.
January 15 at 2:07 a.m., WPD pursued a vehicle that had been stolen out of Anchorage and failed to yield during the attempted traffic stop. The vehicle was being driven by a juvenile who was under the influence of a controlled substance and eventually located on West Kaitlyn Circle. The driver was taken to MSYF on charges of FTS, Vehicle Theft, Assault 3 and DUI Controlled Substance.
January 25 at 9:06 a.m., WPD arrested 32-year-old Elisa Johnson for Criminal Trespass 2 and MICS 5 at Carrs. Johnson was taken to MSPT.
January 15 at 4:45 p.m., WPD arrested Riah Pike on an active arrest warrant while Pike was causing a disturbance at Value Village. Pike was taken to MSPT and additionally charged with False Information.
January 15 at 8:32 p.m., WPD forwarded charges to the DAO on Christopher Tuia for Improper Use of Evidence of Registration.
January 17, WPD charged 39-year-old James Farner of Palmer for Vehicle Theft 1 and False Information following a location of a vehicle stolen out of Anchorage on January 16. Charges are being forwarded to the DAO.
January 18 at 6:04 p.m., WPD arrested 18-year-old Claire Nilsson of Palmer following a high speed chase reaching speeds over 100 MPH of a minivan from Seward Meridian Parkway to the intersection of the Glenn Highway and Old Glenn Highway. Troopers successfully laid a spike strip and ended the pursuit near the intersection. Nilsson was charged with Vehicle Theft 1, FTS 1, Theft 2 and Driving in Violation of an Instructional Permit and taken to MSPT.
January 19 at 6:38 a.m., WPD arrested Jennifer Gregory for Disorderly Conduct following a reported disturbance on North Centurion Place. Gregory was taken to MSPT.
January 19 at 6:30 p.m., WPD arrested Branden Heller on an active warrant at Fred Meyer. Heller was charged with Criminal Trespass and Theft 4 and taken to MSPT.
January 20 at 1:49 a.m., WPD arrested Dustin Hettrick on an extraditable warrant out of Kentucky following a traffic stop. Hettrick was issued a criminal summons for DWLR and taken to MSPT on Fugitive from Justice charges.
January 20 at 11:09 a.m., WPD arrested 39-year-old Vanessa Rumfelt of Wasilla for Theft 4 and Criminal Trespass 2 following a theft from the Holiday gas station on Boundary Street. Rumfelt was taken to MSPT.
January 20 at 7:08 p.m., WPD contacted 19-year-old Lexi Tresham of Wasilla following an attempted traffic stop on three vehicles that were racing on the West Parks Highway. Tresham was the only driver contacted and issued a criminal summons for MOVACA, cited for speeding and later released from scene.
