All information reported in the Police Beat is obtained from police department press releases. Defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

ALASKA STATE TROOPERS

December 18 at 11:55 p.m., AST arrested 21-year-old Dianne Ivanoff of Kotzebue for DUI following a report of a dangerous driver near Knik-Goose Bay Road. Ivanoff was issued multiple citations for lack of insurance, license, and due care to avoid traffic collision. Ivanoff was taken to MSPT and released O/R.

December 20 at 7:25 p.m., AST arrested 42-year-old Marcus Kolstad following a traffic stop at the intersection of Seldon Road and Banner Way. Kolstad was charged with DLWR and taken to MSPT.

December 21, AST executed a search warrant for a residence off Golden Hills Drive in Palmer and arrested 29-year-old Shelby Fulton of Palmer and 32-year-old Christopher Pearson of Palmer for felony burglary and theft. Additionally, 36-year-old Mark Smith of Palmer was arrested on $1,200 in total warrants. Fulton, Pearson and Smith were taken to MSPT. Investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.

December 22 at 4:27 p.m., AST received a report of three stolen vehicles found in the woods off of Knik River Road.

December 24 at 6:02 p.m., AST arrested 34-year-old Rachel Johnson of Palmer for Criminal Trespass 1 at Three Bears in Palmer. Johnson was taken to MSPT and released O/R.

December 25 at 3:55 p.m., AST arrested 28-year-old Seth Row-Button of Wasilla on an active FTA warrant on the O/C of Theft 3, Misc 4, VCOR, Escape, and VCOR. Row-Button was taken to MSPT without bail.

December 25 at 4:13 a.m., AST arrested 34-year-old Burney Hampton of Arizona following a traffic stop near Stanley Road and Smalley Circle in Wasilla. Hampton had a $5,000 FTA warrant on the O/C of Burglary 2 and a $50 warrant on the O/C of Criminal Trespass 1. Hampton was additionally charged with False Information and taken to MSPT.

December 25 at 2:09 p.m., AST arrested 46-year-old Jane Han Kim following a disturbance on Blackstone Circle in Wasilla. Kim was charged with Criminal Mischief 5 (DV) and taken to MSPT without bail.

ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS

December 6 at 12:59 p.m., AWT issued a citation of $300 to 38-year-old Christian Washburn for Trapping with Illegal Bait.

December 19 at 7:30 p.m., AWT arrested 57-year-old Daniel Hagensieker of Wasilla for DUI. Hagensieker was taken to MSPT.

December 21, AWT arrested 36-year-old Kenneth Frank of Sutton for DUI and additional charges of MIWS. Frank was taken to MSPT.

December 23 at 1:54 p.m., AWT issued a summons to 55-year-old Arthur Warren of Palmer following a traffic stop at the intersection of Plumley Road and Bergman Road in Palmer. Warren was DWLR and released.

WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT

December 15, WPD forwarded charges of Assault 4 to the DAO for 36-year-old Joshua Waisanen of Wasilla following a road rage incident in the Target parking lot.

December 15 at 10:29 p.m., WPD issued a summons to Brandon Heller for Criminal Trespass 2 at Walmart.

December 15 at 9:43 p.m., WPD arrested 42-year-old Lee Mitchell of Wasilla for DUI. Mitchell was taken to MSPT.

December 17 at 3:26 p.m., WPD arrested Velvet Fox on an active warrant at Holiday. Fox was additionally charged with False Information and Theft 4 and taken to MSPT.

December 17 at 7:55 a.m., WPD issued a summons to 26-year-old Skyler Marsh of Wasilla for DWLC and VCOR after Marsh was pulled over for speeding with a school zone.

December 17 at 6:26 p.m., WPD arrested John Knetter for MICS 4 and Misty Domanich for three separate warrants and False Information. Both Domanich and Knetter was taken to MSPT.

December 17 at 7:58 p.m., WPD arrested 45-year-old Marshall Welch of Wasilla for DUI. Welch was taken to MSPT.

December 17 at 7:32 p.m., WPD received a report of counterfeit bills being passed at McDonalds.

December 17 at 11:06 p.m., WPD arrested Riley Rosenberry for probation violation, false information, DWLR and DWLI and taken to MSPT.

December 18 at 2:06 p.m., WPD responded to WHS where the SRO had contacted 52-year-old Glenn root of Wasilla following a report of a parent who smelled of alcohol. Root was taken to MSPT on charges of DUI.

December 18 at 10:49 p.m., WPD arrested Randy Kurtze following a report of trespassing at Holiday. Kurtze had multiple warrants and was charged with MICS 5 and taken to MSPT.

December 19, WPD arrested 42-year-old Joey Larson for an outstanding warrant. Larson was taken to MSPT on $1,000 cash bail.

December 20 at 2:18 p.m., WPD forwarded a charge of Theft 3 to the DAO for 39-year-old Devon Damkoheler at Fred Meyer.

December 20, WPD arrested 25-year-old Theresa Harris of Wasilla on two outstanding FTA warrants on the O/C Vehicle Theft 1, Theft 2, and Theft 3. Harris was taken to MSPT.

December 20 at 8:43 p.m., WPD forwarded charges of Assault 4 to the DAO for 34-year-old Bradley Maier of Kenai following a disturbance at the Grandview Inn.

December 22 at 7:14 p.m., WPD arrested Jeannette Durfee on three outstanding warrants at Fred Meyer. Durfee was additionally charged with theft through the DAO.

December 22 at 11:03 p.m., WPD responded to a report of a shoplifter assaulting security at Walmart and arrested 28-year-old Natasha Busey and 52-year-old Earl Morris, both of Anchorage. Busey was the driver in a vehicle that fled Walmart after Morris used pepper spray on the security officer fleeing with stolen merchandise. WPD pursued the vehicle into Anchorage until APD were able to deploy spike strips and immobilize the vehicle. Busey was charged with FTS 1 and two counts of Assault 3 (DV) and Morris was charged with Robbery 2, Theft 3 and Assault 3. Investigation is ongoing and charges are likely to follow.
